Is the reserved sign really necessary???

Well... let me be the first to tell you how very important it is to have your seating arrangements in order! The last wedding I went to was early March this year and EVEN THOUGHHHHH there was a wedding planner and all the necessary people to handle different responsibilities (seating included)... there was a total mix up. As a guest in my own cousin's wedding, I was carded to be seated on table 2 with all the other cousins whilst table 1 accommodated our parents... These two random OLD people showed up at our table ACCOMPANIED by the seating coordinator. I was a bit confused at first but I didn't bother saying anything.... only to realize a few minutes later that those people were sitting in both my sisters' seats! On querying this situation, the coordinator indicated to me that she directed them to my table beacause they said their last name was Sankar (this was true).. but no relation to my family. My both sisters were then escorted to a table wayyyy down to the back.. almost by the exit because the coordinator said it would be rude and embarrassing to move the old couple... and it would be easier to move them since they were family and shouldn't mind... Words cannot explain how furious I was.. and I wasn't even the one being relocated!

Soooooo people.... just imagine if there wasn't a coordinator... how much worse it would be because all of us got in late as we were taking photos outside... we might have all ended up sitting by the bar!

You don't want your guests to be put in a situation like that.. because as time goes by.. that experience might be the only thing they remember about your wedding!
